Raspberry Pi web hosting

4 posts in this topic

Hello,

I'm trying to use a Raspberry Pi as a web server to host my website. As my public IP is changed like once per week by my ISP I need a script to dynamically update the IP of the host via the cPanel-API so that cPanel knows what dynamic public IP it has to send everyone trying to visit my website to.

I have already found a PERL script ( https://www.gofferje.net/it-stuff/50-dynamic-dns-update-via-cpanel-api ) for this but it doesn't work. Do you have a script for this?

Jon
